You sounded exactly like me. I thought I was out of order for being like this but the game is shocking I never even realised my controls where resetting I thought that had been resolved. It gives me anxiety. Ruins my day sometimes.
Bro, after setting up your controller and main settings just go to profile and press save profile, after that and whenever the settings are reset once again just go and press load profile.
Fifa is not a skill based game, it's mainly about luck and knowing what formation counters your opponent's formation. Skill increases your consistency to score chances.

I feel your pain. Itâs hard to comprehend whatâs going on when the game gets like this. The AI just completely stops getting into the right defensive and attacking positions, putting you in a complete disadvantage. It always feels like itâs one player being impacted too.

But the main thing is how massively connection alters how the game plays. Itâs not like this in other games like CoD FFS
After every single time when I go back to FIFA 23 for example I played in the evening then the next evening I have a little time to play FIFA 23 go back to the game I always go and adjust my controller settings because it is ALWAYS RESET! I have no idea why, one of the recent patch they actually "fixed" part of it but still I always check it when I go and launch the game. ALWAYS. EA just wants to make money but the game still feels abslute trash + lets not to mention this broken sh1t pressure park the bus nonsense tactics. If I see my opponent using it I start using it also. I know, I feel bad for it, but why not when my opponent using it? Why not?
I totally understand this. I replaced my Ethernet cable, disabled crossplay, port forwarded, DMZâd and play in non-peak times AND still horrible sluggish delayed gameplay.
On top of this I have a gaming tv, 1GB internet with really good latency.
Iâm from England but live and work in Vancouver and think I just have to give up playing this game. Itâs never gonna feel good unless they stop âlag compensationâ and address their lack of servers/server quality.
Dude, this stuff is making me CRAZY! Supposedly âlow latencyâ games (10-12ms) feeling like my players are stuck in the mud and have no control while I get ran over (pressure tactics) from the opposition. Then other games with the same latency are flawless. Really starting to wear on me đ«
