  1. Why do you keep this resentfull Mexican dude who knows verry little about soccer? Of you need a Latin American to validate your claims, why don't you hire a knowlegeble footballer from Argentina, Uruguay, or Brasil?

  2. Argentina are the best South American team right now! We beat Brazil in Brazil and in the Maracana and that hasn't happened to Brazil since 1950 when Uruguay beat them in the world cup final

  3. Argentina and Brazil will be in the last four of the World Cup. It's time for a South American World Cup Champion. The Qataris are hosting the World Cup and either Messi or Neymar will lift it….Period!

  4. I am overall still puzzled about the Fifa World ranking which puts Belgium at 1, I can understand the power rankings better among the national teams even the Elo World rankings but it seems the Fifa world ranking has been lying to Belgium for many years. My overall opinion they should be really ranked 3rd in the world.

  5. I have noticed over the years that most of the media and fans seem to think this sport only evolves around Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but the truth is the competition will be brutal in the World Cup coming up and next one's. There is a lot of good teams now, not like before as the high level of play has been rising among all the national teams because more international players are able to compete in more competitive leagues and called up especially in Europe. Winning a world title just with name alone is a thing of the past and those days are over.

  6. I have to say with humility and being realistic I honestly don't know for sure, because the competition has gotten very strong and will get even stronger the years to come especially now from Europe. Winning world titles with past names and past glories won't work in the modern day game, so a team has to really show and perform well if they want to proof that they are worthy of being crowned world champions and this is true for both the men and women's world cups.

  7. There is no difference between europeans teams and south american team don t forget that south american players have made europeans leagues more competitive and all the talent comes from south america messi neymar and so on what you people are talking about.european teams have won worldcups because they defend better and they developped their tactics and introduced new ways of analysing games but talent wise brazil on its day and at its best can destroy any european so called giants what the heck people are talking about we are talking about brazil who has 5 worldcups.the problem in brazil is corruption and retarded tactics and formations and bad defending belgium has beaten brazil by an own goal and after that courtois saved their asses and brazil dominated the game if brazil had equalised they would have knocked out belguim easily belgium is nowhere near ranked 1 team in the world so ovverated as a team i m not a belgium hater i swear but watching their games they simply aren t the best they are ovverhyped.france germany italy and spain are the best teams in europe but of course not belgium that s for sure

  8. World cup will be between Italy,Argentina,Brazil.personally,I think it will be very tough for France to defend a worldcup,I think Italy,Argentina and Brazil are better teams and more motivated to win,but I will love to see Messi winning because, people continue to force Messi to win it,but they can't speak of that With Ronaldo, when judging by talent Portugal are more talented, but no expectations, but just because they want to find a loophole in Messi's Career, they think he has failed to win a world cup,The last two world cups Messi have been knocked out by eventual champions, which were clearly more balanced teams than Argentina,Messi is okay, and I hope to see a more free and happy Messi in a world cup next year,,remember Bolivia are weak, but when you go to their capital its a high altitude area, even the strongest of teams struggle there
In south America, there is no litchestein,Estonia,Gibraltar,Luxembourg,Bulgaria,Kazakhstan,so remember the weakest team Messi faces in america is Bolivia, but they are a Sunderland kind of team, they bring an atmosphere and beat you hands down on their day.I have never seen Gibraltar win and when Ronaldo scores against them some multiple goals we think Messi is weak, you don't know what you are saying.

  9. Not sure why people who don’t know anything about South American football comment on it. Brazil and Argentina are world class, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay are still good. Obviously, it’s statistically more likely that a European team will win because they have more countries participating, but South American’s quality is way more balanced in qualifying than Europe.

  10. Let me tell you something. Brazil have finally got some flair apart from Neymar.

Antony who plays for Ajax and has developed who gets more minutes than Vinicius Jr for the national team tells you something.

And Raphinha, what's he doing in Leeds? He's Neymar's shadow, he is the player that Neymar always needed.

Brazil will create a storm in 2022.

  11. Those who think argentina will go far in World Cup are the most deluded ones
They drew against Paraguay which got beaten by Bolivia by 4 0
Won against Peru but were bad in 2nd half
7 draws in world cup qualifiers ?

  12. Argentina reminds me of 2018/2019 Liverpool. Not the most talented players but the biggest workhorses who play for the badge and most importantly: NEVER STOP RUNNING!

  13. Neymar put on a performance that was normal for Neymar and this expectation is scary.

If Neymar doesn't complete 8 dribbles doesn't create 8 goal scoring chances and doesn't jogo bonito and score a goal people automatically think he's finished.

Not even Messi carries this expectation.
